Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio; minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period; self-scheduling model

Highlights:

• Short-term acute care facility with 379 staffed beds and Level II Trauma Center designation
• Comprehensive ICU case mix including medical, surgical, cardiovascular, neuro, and trauma intensive care patients
• Epic charting system with 28 hours of paid orientation to support successful onboarding
• Float to sister ICU units (SICU, CICU, NSICU) as needed to support patient care across specialties
• Robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Travel nursing contract with commitment to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:2 or 1:3 patient ratios preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred; community hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive drip titration, CRRT/CVVHD, arterial line management, and central line care
• Two professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius or accept adjusted bill rate

Patient Population:

Adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including sepsis/septic shock, ARDS, respiratory failure, acute kidney injury, stroke, post-cardiac arrest, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, and post-surgical patients. Daily census averages 13 patients across 16-bed unit.
