What You’ll Do:

• Be the Face of HGC – Daily engage with candidates from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they experience the high standards and culture that define our team.
• Find and Attract Top Talent – Utilize creative sourcing strategies to bring in skilled individuals who will help drive our success.
• Guide Candidates Through the Process – Support applicants every step of the way, from initial contact, to interviews or tryouts, to onboarding, to weekly orientations, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and HGC resource groups.
• Support All Of Our Teammates, Including Our Spanish-Speaking Teammates – Act as a bridge between candidates, teammates, and leadership, ensuring clear communication and inclusivity building effective relationships
• Strengthen HGC’s Workforce – Work alongside with marketing team and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and help build a strong, high-performing team.
• Represent HGC in the Community – Attend job fairs, build relationships, and actively seek new recruiting opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Fluency in English & Spanish – Strong verbal and written communication skills to connect with all candidates & teammates at all levels, effectively.
• Recruiting or HR Experience – Experience in construction, skilled trades, or field recruiting is a plus.
• Passion for People – A strong ability to connect, engage, and support individuals throughout the hiring process.
• Problem-Solver & Go-Getter – You take initiative and find solutions, keeping the hiring process smooth and efficient. 
• Highly Organized with Excellent Time Management Skills & Very Detail-Oriented – Ability to manage multiple candidates and tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism screening and coordinating

HGC operates in a 65-mile radius from Charlotte, North Carolina. By applying for this position, you acknowledge our operation radius and understand your commute could reach up to one (1) hour. Teammates are asked to move job sites as project needs change and occasionally report to the HGC Academy for training. All applicants to whom a conditional offer of employment is made shall undergo and pass a pre-employment screening including drug test, background check, and a fit for duty exam prior to beginning work.
