Registered Nurse – Oncology / Med-Surg (Inpatient)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:00 | Weekdays and Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care on a Med-Surg or Oncology unit
• Manage and monitor patient conditions with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–6
• Perform IV starts and administer medications including chemotherapy and biotherapy as applicable
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient treatment plans

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in West Virginia or a valid Compact State license (pending license accepted for submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficiency with IV starts
• Permanent address located more than 100 miles from the facility (75–100 miles considered on a case-by-case basis)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification
• NIHSS certification
• Prior travel nursing experience
