About the Role:

Kids Town Pediatric Dentistry is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Pediatric Dental Assistant to join their team in Roy, UT! Responsibilities:

• Assist the pediatric dentist chairside during exams, cleanings, and dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patients
• Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed by the dentist
• Build rapport with young patients to create a calm, positive, and comfortable dental experience
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts using dental practice management software
• Support front office staff with scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric experience is a plus
• Dental Assistant certification is great but not required 
• Radiology certification or ability to be trained 
• Warm, patient, and energetic demeanor with a natural ability to connect with children
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with parents and guardians
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and a committed team player
