Urologist

Assignment Details

• Location: Altoona, Pennsylvania

• Start Date: August 31, 2026

• Practice Setting: Hospital and Outpatient Clinic

• Ongoing part-time coverage

• Reason for Coverage: Physician leave

Compensation: Open rates.

Schedule

• Urgent Coverage:

• August 31 (7:00 AM) – September 11 (7:00 AM)

• September 16 (7:00 AM) – September 28 (7:00 AM)

• Ongoing: Approximately one week per month

• Typical Schedule:

• Monday 7:00 AM – Friday 5:00 PM

• Weekend coverage may be requested on some assignments

• 24-hour call while on service

• 30-minute response time

Clinical Details

• Adult patient population

• Light outpatient clinic during the day

• Clinic hours:

• First patient: 8:30 AM

• Last scheduled patient: 3:30 PM

• Average Clinic Volume: 15–25 patients per day

• Average Call Volume: 1–4 calls per night

• APPs provide daytime inpatient rounding and consults

• Physician covers clinic and serves as the on-call urologist for inpatient needs

• Level III Trauma Center

• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified in Urology

• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC

• ACLS certification

• DEA required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience

• Clean malpractice and background history required for expedited temporary privileges

• Must be available for the requested coverage dates

Credentialing

• Approximately 90 days

• Full and Temporary privileges available
