What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control concerns and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor lobbies, hallways, waiting areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter disruptions, support orderly operations, and/or document security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate with site leadership and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
