This position requires working the Weekend Day Shift for 3 days, with shifts typically running from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI examinations on patients to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work independently, alongside an assistant for patient transport and exam support, and manage a typical caseload of 6-9 examinations per day.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI scans on patients while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Utilize Siemens Magnatom Aera equipment for imaging.
• Perform X-ray procedures, including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine, pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal studies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation using Epic charting system.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist is required.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment, such as an ER is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS Certification.
• ARRT MR Certification required.
• Current Washington State License or pending license accepted.
