Computational Chemist for AI Research Quality

Role Overview:
This position offers a unique opportunity for a highly analytical and computationally proficient individual to make significant contributions in the field of computational chemistry. You will be responsible for crafting challenging and insightful problems within your research domain and devising elegant computational solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Quantitative Problem Design and Solutioning:
- Develop and conceptualize original, research-grade or graduate-level scientific problems utilizing scientific coding/programming in Python.
- Define problem categories, secondary tags, and assign appropriate difficulty levels rigorously.
- Formulate and solve problems using sound principles, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and logical coherence of the solution path.
Quality Assurance & Collaboration:
- Participate in two-tier reviews, meticulously evaluating the accuracy of problems and solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with reviewers and team leads, demonstrating a proactive approach to incorporating feedback and enhancing overall quality.
Qualifications:
- PhD or PhD candidates in Computational Chemistry.
- At least 1 published peer-reviewed paper.
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming for scientific coding is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration.
Work Terms:
- Commitment required: 40 hours per week with 4 hours of PST overlap.
- Engagement type: Contractor assignment/freelancer (no medical/paid leave).
- Duration of contract: 8 weeks; expected start date is next week.
- Location: Open to candidates from Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, Turkey, Vietnam.
Compensation:
Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
