Job Summary The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Auxiliary Services department on the Dahlonega campus. The student will help provide a safe and excellent guest experience for students, faculty, users, and patrons on behalf of university and non-university booking clients. Must be able to work evenings and/or weekends as needed. Flexible schedules are available. Responsibilities Event scheduling, setup, management, and post-event breakdown. Help provide first-class spectator and participant experiences for all events in the UNG Convocation Center and Dining Hall Banquet Room. Maintain and administer internal policies and procedures. Assist in the planning and execution of parking operations and logistics for special events. Available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed. Flexible schedules are available. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Good communication and time management skills; willingness to perform required manual labor (lifting, carrying, long periods of standing and/or walking); and other duties as assigned. Candidates should be comfortable interacting with large diverse crowds, be a team player, follow through with tasks, provide exceptional customer service, and demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Required Qualifications Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker. A desired interest to work in event and facility management and highly motivated to represent UNG in a positive manner.
