Certified Athletic Trainer
MLR Healthcare is seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer to join our dynamic team. If you are committed to promoting health and wellness through sports medicine and injury prevention, we want to hear from you!
Job Summary:
As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will work with athletes and active individuals to prevent, diagnose, and treat sports-related injuries. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, coaches, and athletes to ensure optimal performance and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate care and assessment of athletic injuries on-site.
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs and conditioning plans.
- Coordinate rehabilitation and return-to-play protocols for injured athletes.
- Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments, and progress notes.
- Educate athletes, coaches, and parents about injury prevention and management.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Attend practices and competitions to provide ongoing support and care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited program.
- Current certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
- State licensure in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain).
- Strong knowledge of sports medicine practices and injury management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Schedule:
- Full-time position with flexible scheduling options.
