Senior Product Designer

A client/employer of Insight Global is seeking a Senior/Lead Mobile Product Designer to lead design across a mobile platform team. This individual will provide overall design leadership for the mobile ecosystem while working closely with Product Management, Engineering, and other cross-functional partners.


The team is rebuilding its mobile applications and underlying technology stack and is evaluating how best to serve different customer segments across native mobile and responsive mobile experiences. This role will help shape the future direction of the mobile experience while collaborating closely with other designers on the team.


Responsibilities
• Lead overall design direction for the mobile platform team
• Work closely with other Product Designers to provide guidance, mentorship, and design leadership
• Help define mobile product and design strategy
• Facilitate design sprints and collaborative design workshops
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
• Provide recommendations regarding mobile user experience, customer experience, and mobile strategy
• Design experiences for different customer segments and personas
• Support both native mobile and responsive mobile experiences
• Contribute to the evolution of mobile design systems, including mobile-specific patterns and components for iOS and Android
• Remain hands-on in Figma while balancing strategic leadership responsibilities
• Support initiatives involving conversational design and agentic capabilities where applicable

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience leading product design initiatives for mobile applications
• Experience designing native mobile applications
• Strong understanding of iOS and Android experiences
• Advanced experience with Figma
• Exposure to Flutter or other cross-platform mobile development frameworks
• Experience leading design initiatives and providing design direction
• Experience facilitating design sprints and workshops
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution
• Experience designing consumer-facing and business-facing digital products


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience working across multiple mobile products, customer segments, or personas
• Experience contributing to or evolving mobile design systems
• Experience with conversational design, AI-enabled experiences, or agentic capabilities
