Travel Ultrasound Technologist - $1,853 per week

Job Title Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) – General / Vascular Location Dover, New Hampshire (Facility) Job Details 12‑week travel assignment beginning 07/27/2026. 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts. Travel specialist position with Fusion Medical Staffing. Responsibilities Demonstrate understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans. Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging while prioritizing their comfort and safety. Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies. Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards. Apply technical expertise and critical thinking to perform sonographic procedures effectively. Qualifications Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program. Minimum one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Valid ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations. Preferred Qualifications Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS). Current ARRT certification in sonography. Other certifications or licenses that may be required for this position. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills. Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal skills to work effectively with personnel and maintain a positive attitude. Technical / Motor skills to grasp, perform fine manipulation, and assist with procedures. Mental resilience to cope with frequent contact with the public and customers, meet deadlines under pressure, and manage irregular schedules. Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication.
