LaborMAX Staffing is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our corporate HR team at our corporate office.

This position is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented HR professional with strong employee benefits experience who enjoys supporting employees and managing day-to-day HR operations. The HR Generalist will have a primary focus on benefits administration while also supporting employee relations, leave administration, onboarding/offboarding, payroll coordination, recruitment, and compliance. This is not a remote position.

What You’ll Do

• Administer employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and HSA programs
• Assist employees with benefit enrollment, claims, questions, and concerns
• Support administration of the company’s self-funded health insurance plan
• Coordinate open enrollment and communicate benefit options to employees
• Track employee leave and support compliance with FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and HIPAA requirements
• Maintain accurate employee records, benefit documentation, and required filings
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of internal employees
• Provide professional HR support regarding benefits, policies, employee concerns, and workplace issues
• Assist with payroll changes and monthly benefit invoice reconciliation
• Support corporate recruiting, including resume review and phone interviews
• Work with insurance carriers, benefits brokers, leadership, payroll, and other internal teams
• Identify missing documentation or potential compliance concerns and escalate when appropriate

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of employee benefits administration experience
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits and applicable employment laws
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software
• High school diploma or GED required

Preferred:
Experience with self-funded health plans, multi-state organizations, and/or HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or CEBS.
