Position: Sonographer (Cardiology)

We are seeking an experienced Sonographer (Cardiology) for a Part-Time position 3-4 days/week (24 to 32 hours a week) working in both Methuen, Massachusetts and North Andover, Massachusetts for physician offices who will report to our Clinical Regional Manager.

 

Credentials:

• Current RDCS in relevant specialty area is required
• 2+ years of experience in a Clinical Imaging/Ultrasound environment (preferred)

 

Education :

• Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the physician and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings
• Explain the procedures to patients in a friendly, comforting manner to ensure their understanding
• Uphold safety, privacy, and infection control standards
• Continuing education to stay updated on advancements in sonography techniques

• Strong interpersonal skills when interacting with patients and physicians
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently
