Pay Rate: $25-29/HR on W2 Hours: M-F 8am - 4:30pm, some OT available Location: 511 Benedict Avenue, Tarrytown NY

Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances: This is Siemens North American Headquarters - Highly professional office building - Client facing role

Team Overview: Some independent work, some team work

Resource's typical working day: Reviewing daily work orders General building maintenance Painting/patching Furniture repair and installation Sidewalk/ stonewall repair Minor landscape maintenance Light plumbing - Toilet fixtures/accessories Light carpentry Escorting vendors

Licenses/Certifications: No licenses required, but if they have Union carpentry experience that is a plus

Must Have Skills: Painting experience Light carpentry Maintenance and repair of pumps, compressors, and valves

Nice to have skills: Any advanced maintenance skills Mechanical aptitude Skills for advancement HVAC experience

Soft Skills: Highly professional attitude Good customer service skills

Years of Experience: 5 years

Education: H.S. diploma or GED, trade school is a plus

Software skills: Basic computer skills - CMMS system experience

Interview Process: 1 round, on-site interview

About the Role: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
