Project Manager, Survey

Project Manager (PS), Survey - Bentonville, AR Halff has an immediate opening for a Survey Project Manager who is a Professional Surveyor for our Bentonville, AR office. The ideal candidate would bring at least 1-2 years of management experience in the Survey industry. Previous experience managing large-scale, land survey projects, including overseeing field crews and multiple survey technicians and other registered surveyors, is highly desired. What You Will Do Responsible for managing and overseeing a wide variety of projects for the Survey practice. Strong design and project management experience and knowledge of working with local entities. Manage design and plan production as well as manage clients and supervise technical staff through workshare opportunities with various practices and offices at Halff. Be active in professional organizations that benefit the Survey industry. Develop a network of municipal clients and teaming partners. Develop and manage project scope, personnel, budgets, schedules, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders. Oversee the project's financial health, report issues, and develop solutions. Provide support to business development efforts to guide and lead each phase of the process in preparation of proposals, while emphasizing quality outcomes. Lead by example in a professional, productive, and established work environment. Assist with the operational flow for a survey team to collaboratively prioritize projects of all sizes and complexities. Report on project progress and budgets. Work with the Survey Team Leader and Operations Managers on business development activities. What You Will Need 1‑2+ years of demonstrated management experience in the Survey industry. PS in the state of Arkansas, preferred, or ability to become licensed in Arkansas within a year. Demonstrated expertise in managing large‑scale land survey projects, including overseeing field crews, multiple survey technicians, and other registered surveyors. Boundary and Right of Way resolution experience. Preparation of proposals. Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external clients. Ability to work autonomously, mentor, and professionally develop Survey Technicians and field crew members. Exceptional ability and practical experience to successfully manage projects, including developing scope of work, schedule, and fee while adhering to established guidelines. Technical understanding and proficiency with Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D. Experience with ARDOT, Public Works, Energy, Water & Wastewater, and/or Land Development projects is ideal. Hands‑on experience with various municipalities in the Northwest Arkansas market.
