Job Type: Full-Time
Work a 4-day schedule (7:30 AM - 5:30 PM) with no weekends or on-call duties
Job Summary & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general dentistry services to patients of all ages in an outpatient, community-based setting
- Conduct dental exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Deliver preventive, restorative, and basic surgical dental care
- Perform procedures including fillings, extractions, crowns, and dentures
- Educate patients on oral health, hygiene, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the dental EHR system
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and care teams
- Refer patients to dental specialists as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
Education, Licensure, and Experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
- Active or eligible Maine dental license
- Experience in general dentistry preferred; new graduates considered
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, community-based care
