Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Variable Call Schedule | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 2-suite Cardiovascular Operating Room at a Level II Trauma Center with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Assist with and support CABG, valve replacement, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team including CSTs during day shift operations
• Float to the main OR as needed in support of overall surgical department staffing
• Adhere to facility scheduling policies including variable call coverage, weekend rotation, and holiday rotation
• Document patient care accurately using the facility EMR system (Meditech)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 5 years of CVOR experience
• Main OR experience with willingness to float to main OR as needed
• Ability to work a variable call schedule including every other weekend and holidays in rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• RN candidates who also scrub are strongly preferred
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Flexible, team-oriented personality well-suited to a fast-paced surgical environment
