The Dental Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and effective communication between patients and the dental office. Working within a small team and reporting to the Office Manager, this role involves managing appointment scheduling, verifying insurance, supporting billing processes, and maintaining accurate patient records. Using practice management software, the coordinator will also handle patient follow-up primarily through phone communication to ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently
• Communicate with patients to address inquiries and provide information
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
• Support billing processes and assist with payment follow-up
• Maintain and update accurate patient records
