Seven Healthcare are seeking a competent and experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery Travel assignment in Corpus Christi, TX. This role involves providing both routine and complex care, managing long-term goals, and developing the ability to handle clinical nursing contingencies.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

• RN License in the state of TX or compact
• Current certification required from AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
• Current NRP certification required
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
