Growing employed physician group is seeking a  Gastroenterology physician to join the team in a thriving community hospital located in Lewisburg, PA.

• Seeking add a BC/BE Gastroenterology physician to meet the patient demands of a growing practice.
\n
• New graduates welcome and encouraged to apply! Great mentorship opportunity.

• Full scope adult GI services. Ambulatory practice attached to AAAHC accredited Endoscopy Center.
\n
• Supports emergency department and hospital through GI consultative work. Utilize Hospitalists service for all admissions.
\n
• Experienced Advanced Practitioner support for Hospital and Clinic.
\n
• Competitive straight base compensation model with generous benefits.

• Provides gastroenterology professional services to patients.
\n
• Provides in-hospital patient care and consultations as required.
\n
• Participates in Quality Improvement and Quality Management programs and procedures.
\n
• Maintains a private practice at a location(s) within the Medical Group.
\n

• Participates in Medical Staff activities as required and/or as requested.
\n
• Observes the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the Hospital and the Medical Staff.
\n
• Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required.

• Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
