Outbound Operations Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a fast-paced distribution operation in Jacksonville, FL to hire an Outbound Operations Manager to lead day-to-day shipping execution and coach a team. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on safety, service levels, and continuous improvement .
Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and develop an outbound team (picking/packing/shipping)
- Drive daily productivity and accuracy while hitting key KPIs
- Spot bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement process improvements
- Use WMS/data to track performance and improve results
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance (OSHA, company standards)
Experience:
- 5+ years in warehouse/outbound operations (2+ years leading teams)
- Strong knowledge of outbound fulfillment and WMS
- Continuous improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma a plus)
- Confident communicator who can motivate, coach, and drive accountability
