About the Role

A Master's degree is required, with a preference for a doctorate, and experience in student affairs or related fields is highly valued. Key responsibilities for the Associate Vice President and Dean of Students include providing leadership and oversight for crisis response, student development, and community-building initiatives. The role demands a highly visible and engaged presence with students, as well as the capacity to translate student feedback into thoughtful, forward-looking strategies. The candidate should have exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills, the ability to inspire and develop staff, and a strong commitment to supporting and advocating for students from diverse backgrounds.
