Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour (1-year Contract)
Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Fridays - 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Overtime hours may be requested as needed.

What's a typical day as Materials Coordinator? You'll be:

• Coordinating the flow of materials and filling Kanbans in a production department.
• Ensuring production personnel have the necessary parts to meet operational goals.
• Overseeing inventory accuracy, identifying issues, and recommending solutions to production scheduling problems.
• Executing tactical activities in support of the production plan.
• Handling inbound and outbound material transactions and auditing material replenishment cycles.
• Investigating root causes of material shortages and providing recommendations.
• Supporting manufacturing operations by segregating and managing nonconforming materials to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Maintaining accurate records for nonconforming material and corrective action status.
• Generating and distributing reports of corrective action activities.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have familiarity with manufacturing processes such as primaries, weld, paint, and assembly.
• Understand nonconforming material processes and related regulatory compliance.
• Possess knowledge of basic analysis techniques (percentages, Pareto charts, control charts, etc.).
• Can safely drive a fork truck and Gator/golf cart to move materials.
• Are able to lift up to 35 lbs as required.
• Have strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Are detail-oriented and able to review, update, and maintain accurate data.
• Are comfortable wearing metatarsal safety boots (required on your first day).
• Are legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available).
