Service Center Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Service Center Manager to oversee the daily operations of a technical service and repair facility. This role is responsible for leading production, developing employees, improving operational performance, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Lead daily service center operations, including production scheduling, staffing, and workflow.
Coach and develop employees while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
Ensure quality work is completed on time and meets customer expectations.
Partner with sales and customer service to support customer needs and project timelines.
Monitor KPIs and drive improvements in productivity, quality, safety, and profitability.
Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and departmental budgets.
Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial service, repair, or operations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with production scheduling, KPIs, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
Financial understanding of budgets and operational performance.

Travel

Initial travel required for onboarding and training.
Occasional travel to other company locations as needed.
