Cyber Security Consultant

To support cybersecurity and regulatory compliance initiatives within a medical device organization, the part-time Cyber Security Consultant will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and DevOps teams while ensuring adherence to FDA guidance and EU MDR requirements. Key responsibilities Support product cybersecurity activities throughout the medical device development lifecycle Assist in maintaining compliance with FDA premarket and postmarket cybersecurity guidance Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and threat modeling using established methodologies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline Experience supporting cybersecurity initiatives for medical devices or healthcare technology Knowledge of FDA cybersecurity guidance and EU MDR cybersecurity requirements Experience performing threat modeling and vulnerability management activities Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines
