Job Opportunity: Geriatrician Clinician Educator

We are seeking a board eligible or board certified geriatrician to become part of our faculty as a clinician educator, focusing on training fellows and internal medicine residents. Our organization operates an active homecare service that spans 11 counties in Northeastern New York, alongside an outpatient internal medicine primary care division that serves as the continuity training site for both our geriatrics fellowship and a significant portion of our internal medicine residency program. Additionally, we provide a teaching environment for medical students across all four years, as well as for physician assistant and pharmacy students.

Our geriatrics fellowship program represents a distinctive collaboration between our institution and a senior care system, featuring inter-professional training opportunities across various healthcare settings.

The successful candidate will have the chance to engage in a part-time home visit practice while also conducting outpatient consultations and managing a Geriatric primary care panel. Responsibilities will include mentoring our Geriatrics fellow, residents, and medical students.

Academic appointments will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
