About the Position

Level 2 experience is necessary, while Level 1 experience is preferred. Trauma case experience is mandatory. Candidates must be BLS certified. A skills checklist must be submitted with the application. Local travelers within 100 miles will not be accepted for this position. Candidates should possess prior charge experience. Familiarity with charting systems is preferred. Previous experience in a surgical or hospital setting is desired. Clinical competencies and certifications as a Surgical Technologist/Technician are preferred. Experience in handling special equipment and familiarity with various surgical techniques is required. Compliance with certifications such as BLS and passing a competency exam in Surgical Technology is required.
