About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of recent Critical Care/ICU experience required. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred. Must-Have: - Minimum of 18 months of permanent ICU experience. - Recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission. Description: This position is for a night shift, 3-12 hour shifts. The shifts are from 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidates must have 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Required certifications need to be active with nothing pending. Traveler will float to all ICUs and EDs for holds. An acceptable score on the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation is required. Traveler will receive 2 attempts maximum to pass these assessments. All other candidates must be nicotine-free. A negative 10-panel drug screen is required within 12 months of start. Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements; this exemption is temporary. Candidates may extend with the client for a period of 18 months; after which a 6-month break is required.
