Job Description
As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Watch in Arlington, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify concerns and report security-related or maintenance-related issues.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and support badge, sign-in, and property access procedures in accordance with site expectations.
- Prepare clear and accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift notes, and support follow-up on security-related concerns as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
