Bilingual Medical Assistant II (Spanish/English)We are seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant II (Spanish/English) to provide both clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare setting. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a critical role in delivering quality patient care, assisting providers, and ensuring a positive patient experience throughout each visit. This position combines direct patient care responsibilities with administrative support and offers the opportunity to work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative environment.Clinical SupportGreet and assist patients during appointments and office visitsObtain and document patient medical histories, symptoms, and vital signsEnter patient information accurately into electronic medical records (EMR) systemsAdminister injections and medications as permitted by certification and state regulationsPerform diagnostic tests and screeningsCollect specimens and perform phlebotomy procedures as neededClean, sterilize, and maintain medical equipmentPrepare and maintain examination roomsCollaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to support patient careAdministrative SupportSchedule appointments and assist with patient flowMaintain accurate patient records and documentationSupport operational and customer service activities within the clinicAssist with data entry, reporting, and other administrative dutiesEnsure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and patient privacy requirementsRequired QualificationsBilingual in Spanish and English1-3 years of Medical Assistant experience providing direct patient care in a clinical or outpatient settingActive Medical Assistant certification or registration (CMA, RMA, or equivalent state-recognized credential)Current CPR certificationExperience working in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environmentBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft OutlookStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to complete required tuberculosis (TB) screeningPassion for providing outstanding patient care and improving patient experiencesPreferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentHands-on professional phlebotomy experienceExperience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemsExperience with HEDIS measures and quality initiativesActive Medical Assistant certification or registration through organizations such as:American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)National Healthcareer Association (NHA)American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)American Medical Technologists (AMT)Active Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification/licenseWork EnvironmentOutpatient healthcare settingPatient-facing role with frequent interaction with patients, physicians, nurses, and clinical staffFast-paced environment requiring strong multitasking, communication, and customer service skillsOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient health outcomes and overall patient experience.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
