Controller Southwest Michigan $75,000 - $90,000 + Merit Bonus A growing, financially stable organization is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations, strengthen processes, and bring ownership to the general ledger. This is a high-impact opportunity for an accounting leader who wants to do more than maintain the status quo—you'll help build the financial infrastructure that supports future growth. What You'll Do Own the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting. Lead AP/AR and day-to-day accounting operations. Drive process improvements, internal controls, and operational efficiency. Partner with finance leadership on reporting, analysis, and strategic initiatives. Support audits, compliance, and month-end close activities. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong general ledger and financial reporting expertise. Prior leadership or supervisory experience. Public accounting or CPA firm experience strongly preferred.
