Two Clinical Infusion Pharmacist positions are available in a home infusion setting located in the Seattle, WA area with a contract-to-hire opportunity starting immediately. These roles focus on delivering expert clinical pharmacy services to a complex patient population receiving specialty and compounded infusion therapies.

The site currently supports approximately 1,300 patients, with around 800 receiving specialty medications, processing 350-400 prescriptions daily, including over 100 compounded sterile preparations. As part of the pharmacy team, you will provide clinical oversight and ensure the safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of infusion therapies such as biologics, antimicrobials, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), and other specialty treatments.

Work schedules vary by opening, including:

• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, no weekends
• 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday, no weekends

A thorough training program includes two weeks of standard onboarding plus 3-4 months of clinical mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for clinical appropriateness and compliance
• Provide clinical expertise for infusion therapies including specialty medications and compounded preparations
• Assess and monitor patient therapy plans for optimal outcomes
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams on medication management
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and accreditation standards

Qualifications:

• Active, clear Washington State Pharmacist license
• Minimum 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in home infusion
• Strong clinical background with experience in inpatient, IV therapy, home infusion, TPN, biologics, compounding, and related areas
• Experience in outpatient infusion and specialty pharmacy is highly desirable
• Prefer candidates local to Seattle, WA area
