Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry / Stepdown / Medical-Surgical (Nights)

Contract – Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care for telemetry, stepdown, and medical-surgical patients in a 31-bed unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout each shift
• Float to medical-surgical unit as needed based on staffing and census requirements
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
• Adhere to all facility policies, dress code requirements, and infection control standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (all ALC modules must be completed)
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in telemetry, stepdown, or medical-surgical nursing
• Proficiency with total patient care delivery model
• Ability to work every other weekend as scheduled
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel nurse

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Cerner EMR
• Previous travel nursing experience in a telemetry or stepdown setting
• Familiarity with float assignments across medical-surgical units
