About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with TalentBurst, Inc. to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Potsdam, New York, 13676!

• Unit: PCU / Med Surg-Tele

• Census/Capacity: Avg. daily census 23 | 30 beds | 17 rooms

• Ratios: Days 1:5 | Nights 1:6

• Schedule: EOW weekend coverage

• Experience: Minimum 1 year

• First-Time Travelers: Accepted

• Local Rule: No locals; must live >50 miles away

• Charting: EPIC required

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS & NIHSS required

• Floating: Required — may float to sister units West 2, West 3 & Observation

• Patient Population: Cardiac, respiratory, COVID, infectious disease, pre/post-op, endocrine & CVA

• Unit Details: Certified Stroke Center

• Preference: PCU-trained candidates prioritized ; unit may be PCU or Med Surg/Tele

• Visits/Day: 3
