JOB SUMMARY:
Provide support to the Escrow department by assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to escrow closings. Ability to balance the workload to accommodate demands of the job and exceed customer expectations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in clearing title and prepares residential escrow files for closing.
- Assists Escrow Officers with business development and customer service.
- Prepares documents of all types of residential transactions, such as warranty deeds, Quit Claim Deed, and works up simple closing statements.
- Print checks for closing at direction of Escrow Officer
- 1099 issuance after closing
- Close out escrow file after successful closing per company standards
- Verify wiring instructions for closer
- Submission of complete closing package after successful closing
- Document preparation for the Title Officer as needed to support closing agent

- Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday.
- Must be able to work approved and requested overtime, by supervisor.
- Repetitive and continual typing motion is required.
- Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions.
EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years’ experience as Escrow Asst or equivalent.
- 1yr Experience with residential real estate transactions- preferred not required
- Experience with SoftPro is preferred, but not required
- Good grasp of Math & Real Estate Concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Customer Service with a Positive & Team Player Type of attitude
