The Vice President, Mainframe Engineer plays a critical role in BNY's commitment to delivering robust and reliable mainframe solutions. This position is central to supporting BNY's strategic pillars by ensuring the stability and efficiency of our mainframe systems, which underpin key business operations. As a part of the Mainframe Development job family, this role involves designing, developing, and implementing mainframe applications that align with BNY's principles of innovation and service excellence. The role demands a deep understanding of software engineering practices within a mainframe environment to drive technological advancements and operational improvements.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of mainframe applications by utilizing advanced engineering practices to enhance system performance and reliability.
