Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, located in Newark, New Jersey. This is over a 600-bed acute care facility managing a team of 35 union staff. In this role you will be responsible for the housekeeping department, managing 2nd shift (3pm-11pm ), with rotating weekends. This position will report to an Operations Manager on-site. What You'll Do:

• Implement performance improvement and quality assurance programs targeted to improve patient satisfaction and throughput.
• Interact with patients and the staff
• Perform HR functions including hiring, orientation, training, payroll and direct supervision and development
• Maintain safety documentation and training for unit

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
