Overview At Lytx, we help make roadways safer by transforming real‑time video and telematics into safety intelligence that prevents collisions and saves lives. You will lead the Foundational Core and Insights teams, the mission‑critical engine that turns data products into action. Your objective is to build the robust, multi‑tenant services that allow our entire product ecosystem to scale seamlessly. What You’ll Do Engineer Insights Platform Services: Lead the Insights team, develop and deliver complex data products that provide actionable insights, helping organizations move from “What happened?” to actionable recommendations. Architect an “Always‑On” Foundation: Own the critical core services: Identity, Permissions, and Multi‑tenancy. Lead Tech Leads to build a high‑resiliency IAM capability that serves as the bedrock for our platform. Drive AI‑First Engineering: Set rigorous AI‑driven engineering standards, leverage Generative AI to accelerate team velocity, adopt an AI‑centric SDLC, mentor senior engineers, translate strategy into clear roadmaps, manage dependencies, and deliver measurable outcomes. Advocate for scalability, quality, observability, incident response, and cost/performance optimization. What You’ll Need 10+ years building scalable distributed systems with 5+ years managing teams and growing senior‑level talent. Experience reviewing and guiding everything from UI flows to API contracts and data models, understanding how front‑end and back‑end work together. Proven success with cloud‑native microservices, high‑scale systems, and building granular, multi‑tenant permission models. A clear perspective on using Generative AI to eliminate inefficiency in both product and engineering processes. A track record of owning complex roadmaps and ensuring predictable, high‑quality delivery in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Deep knowledge of the AWS Ecosystem, C#/.NET, and Kubernetes. Experience managing “zero‑failure” services where high availability is the baseline.
