Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting in-depth psychosocial assessments to identify and evaluate students' emotional, social, and financial needs for holistic support.

  • Providing individual and group counseling sessions focused on diverse topics such as trauma recovery, adjustment challenges, and social skills development.

  • Coordinating care by liaising with community organizations and resources to facilitate smooth transitions and continuity of care for families, particularly post-discharge from services.

  • Participating actively in educational workshops and training sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers in their roles.

  • Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to optimize each student's outcomes and enhance their academic performance.

  • Documenting all interactions and treatment outcomes promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with all local and federal regulations.

  • Providing crisis intervention and emotional support to students facing immediate challenges, developing strategies for resilience.

  • Participating in school committees focused on mental health policy development and best practices to improve school climate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele served in this position predominantly includes children and adolescents within the school system facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your empathetic approach and specialized training will allow you to provide vital support that not only addresses the immediate needs of these young individuals but also paves the way for long-term emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

  • An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
