What You’ll Do
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring
Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical systems to identify issues
Perform work in compliance with NEC codes, blueprints, and industry standards
Test systems and components to ensure proper functionality
Complete service documentation accurately and timely
Maintain proper inventory of supplies and parts
Calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems
Troubleshoot and complete repairs efficiently
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of field electrical experience (residential/light commercial preferred)
Strong knowledge of current NEC codes
Ability to diagnose, repair, and work on circuits ranging from 24 VDC to 480 Volt AC
Experience installing conduit, Romex, MC cable, service cable, and underground wiring
Ability to install electrical devices (receptacles, lights, ceiling fans, switches, smoke detectors, etc.)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Strong communication skills with both customers and colleagues
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electrician’s license preferred
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
