Registered Veterinary Technician - ER

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician! Pay: $22.00 - $40.00 / hour This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system. Schedule: Both weekday & weekend shifts available We offer up to a $500 annual stipend for continued education We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example: Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.00 Shift Differential Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.00 Shift Differential Our emergency service is growing and we are seeking to add Registered Veterinary Technicians to our team. Experience in both ICU and ER/Triage desired. This is a fast paced environment with the potential to work in tandem with our specialty services. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays. As a Veterinary T echnician , you will: Triage and obtain patient history Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines. Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
