Production Associate – Metal Polishing & Finishing

First Shift | Full-Time

Amherst, NY

$22-24/hr

• Paid, hands-on training —no polishing experience required to start

• Grind, polish, sand, and deburr stainless steel and aluminum parts
• Work on tanks, pressure vessels, and custom fabrications
• Use hand and power tools (grinders, sanders, polishers)
• Inspect parts to ensure quality and proper finish standards
• Follow drawings, instructions, and shop safety guidelines
• Keep your workspace clean and organized
• Collaborate with welders and fabricators to complete builds

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hands-on work
• Experience using hand or power tools (shop, auto, construction, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment

• BOCES or technical school training
• Auto body, automotive, or trade-related experience
• Prior shop, construction, or manufacturing exposure
• Interest in building a long-term career in metal fabrication

• First shift: Monday–Friday (~7:00 AM – 3:00/3:30 PM)
• Active fabrication shop working with stainless steel and aluminum
• Hands-on role with physical work and movement throughout the day
• Seasonal shop temperatures in an open environment

This is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo, NY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Buffalo,NY.
