Quality Assurance AnalystThe Specialty Synthesis Group Quality Assurance Team is looking to add a Quality Assurance Analyst to the dynamic group. As QA Analyst, you will work out of the Monroeville, PA facility and report to the Quality Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesTimely preparation and submission of analytical samples for incoming raw materials, in-process batches and finished goodsTabulation and interpretation of analytical test dataLiaison between production groups and QC Test LabRaw material and batch approval to established specificationsReporting and communication of batch dispositionsParticipation in root cause investigations and problem-solving activitiesSupport Quality Management System ActivitiesDevelop personally and professionally through work experience and by acquisition of new skills as determined by the expanding needs of the position.QualificationsB.S. degree in chemistry related field preferred with experience in quantitative analysis of HPLC, UPLC and GC techniques.Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience is desirable.Ability to perform light duty work including lifting a minimum of 25 lbs.PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD®Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
