Are you a structural engineer with a passion for thoughtful residential design? We’re a boutique architecture firm based in Los Angeles (90035) looking for a part-time Structural Engineer to support our growing portfolio of multifamily housing and ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) projects.

You’ll work hands-on with our design team to bring smart, efficient housing solutions to life—balancing creative vision with code-compliant structural systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects on multifamily and ADU projects

• Produce structural calculations, drawings, and details

• Ensure compliance with local codes, zoning, and permit requirements

• Perform site visits and inspections as needed

• Provide input on constructability, material selection, and cost-effective solutions

Requirements:

• Licensed PE in California (preferred, or in progress)

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on residential or multifamily construction Type V

• Proficient in structural software (e.g., RISA, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit)

• Clear communication and ability to work independently

• Must be able to work on-site in the 90035 area

Schedule & Compensation:

• 3–5 days per week (flexible schedule)

• $70,000–$110,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
