Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician

Works under direct supervision of a pharmacist. Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. May assist in orienting and training employees. Assist the professional staff in the triaging, processing and delivery of prescriptions to the patient. Assist in the management of the Pharmacy Inventory and Third-Party Receivables. Perform duties of Pharmacy Clerk as needed including, but not limited to running cash register and answering telephones Executes the plan able to learn and understand specific aspects of the pharmacy management system (i.e., reception and release to patient queues) as well as our POS system; follows instructions and completes tasks with a sense of urgency; responsible for daily department standards.
