ACCESS PT, a member of the Confluent Health family, is currently looking for a Physical Therapy Aide to join our Rhinebeck, NY team!

Job Position: Physical Therapy Aide

Job Location: 187 East Market Street, Suite 142 Rhinebeck, New York 12572

Job Type: Part-Time

Salary Description: $16.00-$17.00/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sanitize treatment room for the patients
• Understand the uses of stationary bikes, pulley systems, exercise/medicine balls, plyometric boxes, rebounder, weight equipment, mobilization tables and benches, progressive resistive exercises as designed by the Physical Therapist
• Prepare equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin bath, and hot packs
• Remove and replace braces, splints, and slings from patient bodies before and after treatment
• Assist physical therapy assistant and/or physical therapist to support patient during ambulation and gait training.
• Communicate effectively with patients/clients, the public and all members of the healthcare team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
