Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Round Rock, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00, rotating weekends.

Job Description: The Emergency Room is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position. This role involves delivering high-quality care to patients in an emergency setting. The RN will work collaboratively with a diverse team to manage critical situations and provide treatment to patients in need of immediate assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage and monitor patients' conditions, especially those with trauma, stroke, or STEMI situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and a thorough understanding of EMR (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license.
• ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications are required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency nursing setting.
