Aerospace Quality Inspector Payrate and Hours:

• Pay: $75,000 to $85,000
• Hours: 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday

We are currently seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector to join our team. Must have aerospace manufacturing experience and strong knowledge of inspection processes for machined parts.

Quality Inspector Responsibilities:

• Inspect machined parts using: Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gauges, Indicators, Depth Micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
• Operate and use CMM and FARO Arm CMM (required)
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections
• Complete AS9100 documentation, including Forms 1, 2, and 3
• Work directly with customers during source inspections
• Ensure customer quality requirements are met
• Communicate with machinists and shop employees regarding quality concerns and specifications
• Use Microsoft Excel and other Windows-based programs

Quality Inspector Requirements:

• Aerospace quality inspection experience required
• Experience with CMM and FARO Arm CMM is required
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Familiar with AS9100 standards
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
