Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$1713.60/week -

Job Summary:

The Labor and Delivery RN will provide direct patient care for women during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. This role involves collaborating with a skilled team to deliver high-quality obstetric services in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and monitor fetal and maternal conditions throughout labor and delivery.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, epidurals, and anesthesia as prescribed, and support labor management.
  
  
• 
  Support patients during childbirth, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
  
  
• 
  Educate and prepare patients for labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditach systems.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and safety.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
  
  
• 
  Hold current licenses and certifications including ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or CEFM.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate advanced skills in laboring patient care, newborn care immediately post-delivery, and intraoperative support for C-sections.
  
  
• 
  Have current FA certification for OR techs, if applicable.
  
  
• 
  Ability to manage shared decision-making and provide compassionate patient support.
